Welcome to Black Hills Reconditioned Bikes for Kids As a non-profit organization, our mission is to provide bicycles, tricycles, scooters, wagons, and exercise equipment to recipients throughout the Black Hills. We believe that every recipient deserves his or her own bike. |
| The estimated need in the past has exceeded even our wildest imagination. Approximately 300 bicycles are donated annually to recipients throughout South Dakota.
A total of over 6,000 bikes have been given away and 60,000 have been received as of April, 2008. Recipients can be anyone that needs a bicycle. They can also bring their bicycles in if they need repairs done to the bicycles that they already own. All of this is made possible by the local community's efforts and generous donations.
