The West River Invitational 4-H Shoot February 10 -11, 2012, in conjunction with Mark’s Barber Shop Annual Big Buck Contest. Registration Friday 2 – 6 PM with the first relay at 3 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 1 PM with the first relay at 9 AM. Participants over age 12 will also need to purchase an event ticket for $15 (see below). Equipment must have proper clear barrel indicators in place when not in use. Preregistration by Friday, January 27th. Contact the Butte/Lawrence County Extension Office for additional information at 892-3371.

You are also welcome to bring your 2011 season buck racks in for the big buck competition. There are categories for youth, men and women in both rifle and archery for deer, antelope and elk. Tickets are $15 which includes admission to the trade show, entry into the big buck contest (cash prizes award for each category), the awards banquet on Saturday evening and the drawing for prizes that total $3,500 including firearms and bows. Youth 12 and younger are admitted free of charge.
