From the time he was a seventh grade beginning guitar player, Mike Connor has been organizing performing groups. He made a "45" record in 1965 with his high school rock and roll band featuring his own songs. As a founding member of the Acoustic Christmas troupe, he continues to organize arrangements for the December Acoustic Christmas concerts.

Doreen Pospisil brings a wealth of experience as a lifetime performer to this group. Doreen radiates a gentle spirit yet she sings a mean vocal! Her intonation and stage presence come as naturally as her smile.

Judy Connor is a veteran music educator and choral director who brings not only her formal music skills to the group, but also a fine soprano voice. Her experiences working with adolescents makes her uniquely suited to work with the male contingent of the Acoustic Christmas group.

Terry Pospisil embodies what is means to be a South Dakotan. From his early years as a ranch hand in Todd County comes his deeply ingrained "Spirit of the Old West." As a veteran musician who has played bass and has sung lead vocals all his life, Terry is as likely to be singing the highest part one song and the lowest on the next.
Fred Evans is a master percussionist, comfortable in many different musical settings. His ability to play within a wide range of styles, with taste and sense of melody, makes him an integral part of the Acoustic Christmas sound. Kathy Dains brings a clear and vibrant soprano voice to the group. She is a great musician who is constantly growing and searching for new ways to express her sound within the group. This is best seen in her adaptation of the Celtic penny whistle in the arrangements the group has created.
Boyd Bristow has a clear tenor voice and an intelligent lead guitar style which makes him a treasure for his musical talents alone. But on top of that, he is also the driving force behind the recording and production of the Acoustic Christmas compact discs. Tom Dains is a guitar player and singer who contributes an enthusiasm and good humor that can only be described as contagious. He’s not above inflicting a little “pun”ishment on concert goers. But Tom’s kind spirit and talent for words has contributed some memorable original compositions to these shows.
Barb Morean has a voice that is so warm, it melts the icicles off the roof on a cold winter night in Dakota. Her strong, rhythmic feel on the Bodhran and other percussion instruments, as well as her harmonic sense, is fundamental to the group's arrangements.
