As a non-profit organization, our mission is to provide bicycles, tricycles, scooters, wagons, and exercise equipment to recipients throughout the Black Hills. We believe that every recipient deserves his or her own bike. We are serving God as the middle man to charitable contributions.
What does it Cost? You won't find price tags on any of our bikes. Payment is flexible as it is all about fairness, equality, ability and inclination. To be clear, we ask for donations to keep the program going. In lieu of a donation you may also Earn a Bike. We are happy to have you volunteer time in exchange for a bicycle. Keep in mind, there are real and significant expenses to run the program (including parts, and utilities), it is in your hands to contribute enough to help keep this program going.
The estimated need in the past has exceeded even our wildest imagination. Approximately 300 bicycles are donated annually to recipients throughout South Dakota.
All of this is made possible by the local community's efforts and generous donations. Browse through the links above to find out more about the program and to make a donation or if you have any questions, please contact us. Also we would like you to check out a fantastic program to recieve a helmet for your little ones safety. That program is called Don't Thump Your Melon. It is located at the Rapid City Regional Hospital and can be accessed by calling Kim Johnson at 605-719-5640
