Select the picture of the small table cut we made and copy it Ctrl+C.

Select the candace01.psp picture we just saved and make the bkdp layer the active layer. Press Ctrl+L twice to paste the small cut above the bkdp layer twice. Line up the two cuts as I did in the picture on the left. Notice how the line we drew allows us to line up the bottom of the table.

Create a New Raster Layer and name it o for outline. Hide the layers we pasted in (layer2 and layer3) and make the o layer the active layer.

Draw an outline to approximate how you want the added legs to appear. Similar to what I've done below.

Use the Magic Wand to select the area you just outlined.

Hide the o layer. Make layer2 active and press the Delete Key to delete the selected area over the leg. See the result in the picture below.

Make the bkdp layer active and delete the selected area in that layer too. Press Ctrl+D to remove the selection. You should now have something that looks like the picture below.
