These are for historical reference only. Most of these frequencies belong to the National Interagency Fire Cache's portable radio systems and will only be used again at other major fires. Typically, aircraft will switch to a NIFC air-to-ground frequency on the second day of an incident, and a NIFC portable radio system will be in place by the third day.
Fire aircraft frequencies have a history of changing from year to year, but they have mostly remained the same since 2004.
