These numbers are used to identify units on the air. The county number is said first,
followed by a unit designator.
Examples:
2-9K1 is from Pennington county (2 is the prefix)
57-1A is from Spink county (57 is the prefix)
These numbers also are used on South Dakota license plates to identify
the county of registration. For example, 1A5 555 is licensed in Minnehaha
county, and 41A 555 is from Jones county.
