Read this first:

Most public safety agencies are switching to the digital trunked system operated by the state. If your local agency disappeared from its old frequencies, this is almost certainly what happened. If you're looking for frequency data for that system, the best place to look is http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=2315. Due to the size and complexity of the system, I'm not going to maintain a separate list here.

Also, some law enforcement, military, and other frequencies important to homeland security will not be included here when such frequencies aren't already commonly known. Civic responsibility has to be priority #1.
